Farooq A. khan, md
Dr Khan is an award winning, fellowship trained, double board-certified interventional physician who specializes in minimally invasive treatments that reverse damage to the spine, joints and nervous system. Over the past decade, he has established his reputation in Hinsdale by successfully treating thousands of patients utilizing cutting edge treatments such as PRP/stem cell therapy, 3D SI joint fusion, spinal disc repair and advanced knee neurostimulation to treat conditions that would otherwise lead to large surgery or chronic pain.
Dr Khan was inspired to seek out alternative and regenerative treatment strategies for pain after witnessing his own father struggle with chronic issues that developed after spine surgery. During that period, he investigated hundreds of treatment modalities from a variety of approaches and learned through experience how to best utilize these options. Since that time, Dr Khan continues to find inspiration in his patients, and he combines this motivation with advanced medical technology in order to help them get back to work, get back to exercising and get back to living.
Over the years, Dr Khan has trained multiple physicians on current techniques and assembled a team of experts at Modern Pain Consultants who combine their expertise, compassion, and enthusiasm to treat each patient with a level of genuine compassion and respect that cannot be imitated. According to Dr Khan, “The need to offer minimally invasive, highly adaptable, clinically proven treatments focusing on orthopedic and spinal issues is greater now than ever before, and at Modern Pain Consultants we are at the forefront of returning people to functionality and vitality.”
